Our Balboa 1 series designed for new dancers and those looking to add a new flavour to their swing dancing.

Partner dancing can seem daunting and a bit scary, but we guarantee that you will develop confidence on the dance floor and have a great learning experience. Our teachers and our dance community believe that anyone can learn and enjoy dance. We aim to foster a welcoming and inclusive community, and we would love to share with you our passion for vintage jazz music, dance, and culture.

You will learn the essential technique, rhythm, and moves that are suited for this fast paced dance: Each lesson builds on the previous lesson, and the instructor caters to the class skill level. If you want to invest your time really getting to know this dance, then this series is for you!

Come solo! We will be rotating partners frequently throughout the lesson for those who are comfortable with that.
