This is a diverse class welcoming different levels of experience.

This class is for all dancers who:

• have completed Beginner 1

• Or have previous swing dance experience and are comfortable with 6-count and 8-count moves

• Or have completed Beginner 2 and want to continue learning (each series is different!)

We go beyond the basic fundamental moves/rhythm and delve deeper into technique and into more challenging combinations and moves. We also may introduce the concept of musicality, incorporate solo jazz steps, and explore the Charleston. Each series is unique because we cater to the skills of each class and there are so many potential topics to cover.

Try out the first lesson for $15 and see if you’d like to sign up for whole series at the end of the first lesson. After the first lesson there is no drop-in.

Akimbo Dance Studio is located inside the North Hills Mall next to TD Bank. Enter the mall through the entrance between TD Bank and Shoppers Drug Mart. You will need to tell the security guard that you are taking a Lindy in the Loops Lessons because the mall will be closed.
